This event is for members and immediate family only. Please no guests. Do not call the office.
Check-in for our members will be near the front entrance of the Frost Museum between 8:30am-1:30pm. Look for our DCFBA Banner and Lourdes under the yellow umbrellas near the front entrance of the museum.
You MUST RSVP via Eventbrite to attend. Any guest that has not RSVP through Eventbrite must purchase tickets at the ticket counter for regular price.
At check in you will receive your entrance bracelets and a $10 food voucher per each guest to be used at the Frost Museum cafe. The food there is delicious! So 3 guests, you'll have $30 in food vouchers.
The museum will open an hour early with only the planetarium open just for Benevolent members. They will run two shows which would be at 9:05am and 9:40am, and would be exclusively for Benevolent members. After those shows end the guests are free to explore the museum! In addition, the first four planetarium shows would be exclusively for our members as well, those are at 10:00am, 10:20, 10:40 and 11:00am.
The planetarium accommodates about 60 guests per show – and these shows being reserved for our group would allow everyone to have the chance to see a show. The afternoon planetarium shows would still run as an option for museum visitors who are not a part of your group, so we definitely recommend that anyone who is interested in a show comes early and takes advantage of that private first 30 minutes of exploring as well. The afternoon shows sell out quick – so we suggest if you want to see a show, take advantage of the private shows.
Social distancing guidelines will be in place. Frost museum has asked that guests please wear their masks properly, and do kindly issue a warning to those not doing so before asking them to leave. Every guest is also made aware of the mask policy as they are entering the museum. Masks can be taken off when eating at the cafe.
Also, there is a nice park just a few steps away (Maurice A. Ferre Park). Grab your lunch to go and enjoy it at the park. As long as you have your wristbands, you can come in and out of the museum.
